For international students (non-Chinese citizens)

International students pursuing their studies in China are required to purchase insurance. For FISS students who are short-term international students at Fudan, it is highly recommended that you buy insurance before you come to China. Please take a copy of your insurance policy with you and make sure you know your coverage. You can also choose to buy the insurance package of Foreign Students Overall Insurancefor international students of Fudan University provided by Unichina International at http://www.lxbx.netor on spot on the day of registration. The insurance fee for short-term students is as follows:

We will purchase the insurance for the Shanghai Summer School Scholarship students and students from CLIC.

Please note that students without valid insurance are not allowed to register.

If you do not speak Chinese at all, it’s also recommended that you buy extra insurance that covers private international hospitals in Shanghai that provides medical treatment in English, such as follows:
