How to apply

  • For international students (non-Chinese citizens)

    Apply here: https://istudent.fudan.edu.cn/apply/#/user/login with the following Admission Code:

    • Self-paying Students: 789542

    • Tuition-waived Exchange Students: we will email you the code after receiving the official nomination from your home university.

  • For Chinese students (citizens of China's mainland, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan)

    Students who are citizens of China's mainland, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, please apply here: http://register.fudan.edu.cn/ 

    Please note that the website starts with "http", not "https". Delete the "s"  or try to visit the application platform with browsers other than Google Chrome.


    Create an account - Set the site language in English (Click the small earth in the upper right corner)- Search program name “2025 Fudan International Summer Session Application”.

  • To be nominated by Fudan's partner universities

    Fudan International Summer Session is open to students from Fudan's partner universities worldwide. 


    Option 1

    Apply as tuition-free exchange students based on bilateral exchange agreement between Fudan and your home instituition. You will need to consult your home instituition about exchange opportunities and nominating you as tuition-free exchange students to the FISS program.


    Option 2

    Apply as self-paying students with tuition discount. With the official nomination email sent by your home instituition to FISS team (iss@fudan.edu.cn), you will get a 10% discount on tuition.


    Applying through either option, students should proceed with the online application after your home institution emails the nomination to incoming@fudan.edu.cn (tuition-free exchange)  and  iss@fduan.edu.cn (self-paying with discount) . We will email you about the detailed application procedures after receiving your information from your home institution.
