How to Apply

Self-paying Students

1. International student holding a non-Chinese passport, please apply at https://istudent.fudan.edu.cn/apply/#/user/login with Admission Code: 082451. Please complete your application by following the Instructions here. 

*If you haven't deactivated your Chinese hukou/nationality yet, your application as a non-Chinese citizen would be rejected and you will be asked to apply as a Chinese student with your valid Chinese ID or Chinese passport. 中国籍学生（含中国大陆、香港、澳门、台湾籍和户口未注销的学生）请勿在此链接提交申请，在此链接申请会被拒！！！

2. Students who are citizens of China's mainland, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, please apply by following the steps below:

Step 1:Create an off-campus account on http://register.fudan.edu.cn/, set the site language in English by clicking the small earth in the upper right corner, search program “2026 Fudan International Winter Session(for self-paying students)”, submit your application.

Please note that the website starts with "http", not "https". If the website shows blank, try to double click the website and delete the "s". Please do not click the link but to type the website in your browser letter by letter. 直接点击或复制该网址可能会出现无法进入或页面空白的情况，试着在浏览器中手动输入网址，然后双击网站，手动删除https中的s（如有）

Step 2: Pay the application fee (400 CNY) by scanning the QR code below. Please note that the application fee is non-refundable. Only pay after making sure that your application is submitted successfully on http://register.fudan.edu.cn/.  Your status should be Under Review if you submit successfully.

Nominated Tuition-waived Exchange Students:  we will email you the Admission Code after receiving the official nomination from your home university.

Important Deadline:

• Early-bird Application Deadline: 11:00am, Aug. 31, 2026 (Beijing time)

• Early-bird Tuition Payment Deadline: 11:00am, Sep. 4, 2026 (Beijing time)

• Application Deadline for Non-Chinese: 11: 00am, November 9, 2026 (Beijing time)

• Application Deadline for Chinese: 11: 00am, November 23, 2026  (Beijing time)

• All Payment Deadline: 11:00am, Dec. 7, 2026 (Beijing time)

Application Materials

1. One copy of ID document*: Passport info page or Chinese ID info page (身份证正反面扫描件) or Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan Residents (回乡证/台胞证)

2. Enrollment certificate or documents proving student status at current university, such as student card, admission letter, etc. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be translated.

3. Transcripts of academic records. Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be translated.

4. Proof of English proficiency: TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo, or other materials proving a corresponding level of English. Native English-speakers or college students taking an English-taught program are exempted from this requirement.

*If necessary, the university will require applicants to submit extra materials.

Note: 

1. Students from University of California System should apply via UCEAP first.

2. Nominated Tuition-waived Exchange Students: we will email you the code after receiving the official nomination from your home university.

3. All students including the nominated students should complete the application process on Fudan's portal. Otherwise it will be regarded as an invalid application, even you have completed the internal application at your home university.
