Fudan University International Summer Session 2019 officially started on July 4th, 2019. Founded in 2012, the Summer Session has been organized by the School of Economics at Fudan University since 2016. Offering 25 content courses, 3 Chinese language courses of different levels and 2 PE courses, FISS 2019 has attracted more than 400 students from 31 countries and territories to attend. 
In the afternoon of July 5th, the opening ceremony of Fudan University International Summer Session 2019 was held in Yifu Science and Technology Building. The opening ceremony was hosted by Ms. Zhang Yuwen, Coordinator, International Programs Office, School of Economics, Fudan University.




Vice President of Fudan University, Prof. Chen Zhimin delivered the welcome speech and wished students from all over the world a wonderful summer in Shanghai, encouraging them to explore Fudan as well as Shanghai, China.



Ms. Tang Wenqing, Deputy Director of Foreign Affairs Office, Fudan University, introduced the history and global engagement of Fudan University.

Ms. Ding Jie, Deputy Director of International Students Office, Fudan University, presented the Fudan programs for international students, as well as the various activities held for international students on campus.

Mr. Zhou Xiangfeng, Deputy Director, Academic Affairs Office, Fudan University, shared the tips of studying in Fudan International Summer Session.


Ms. Zhuang Jia, Project Officer, International Students Office, Fudan University, presented guidance as well as tips for living on Fudan campus. She also emphasized the important issues regarding visa, accommodation, and the newly launched garbage sorting regulations of Shanghai.







After the opening ceremony, a group photo was taken in front of the Guanghua Building.
